RE Council

The REQM has been developed to celebrate quality RE.

The Religious Education Council of England and Wales (REC) provides support and monitors the quality of the award.

The RE Council brings together some sixty five national organisations.

These comprise academic and professional associations specialising in religions and religious education. The RE Council also includes the individual religion and belief organisations which represent the range of faith communities found nationally, including the British Humanist Association. The RE Council’s shared priority is to strengthen the quality of provision for religious education.
